I loved how close the Dales Countryside Museum was, just about 1.5 km away, making it easy for us to stroll over and enjoy the exhibitions, and I really appreciated that nearby Wensleydale Creamery was perfect for a quick visit to sample some local cheese after our walks. the hotel's character and cozy living room added to our relaxing evenings.

We had a fantastic stay at this charming country hotel. The kids loved the outdoor space and we enjoyed a lovely meal with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The staff were incredibly accommodating, even making a fuss of our little ones during breakfast.

In my wife’s opinion, a small play area would keep the kids entertained.
